CRICKET JOBS: Brand Design Manager - MCC (UK)

MCC (the Club) is the world’s most active cricket club, the owner of Lord’s Ground and the guardians of the Laws and Spirit of the game.
A new opportunity has arisen for a Brand Design Manager to work closely with the Head of Marketing to lead the in-house brand and design team and to co-ordinate and manage all creative aspects of MCC’s brands, including Lord’s, the Home of Cricket, and all associated sub-brands. This role also includes concept development and graphic design across all mediums and business areas, including but not limited to, print and digital media, signage, packaging and merchandising.
With a passion and flair for creative marketing, the successful candidate will be customer and commercially focussed with a strong track record in a brand design management role as well as demonstrable experience of budgeting and financial planning. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are also essential, as he or she will be interacting with a diverse range of people with the aim of establishing long-lasting relationships.
Excellent written and literacy skills are essential along with some experience in managing the in-house design and production team. The ability to prioritise deadlines and organise workloads is key. Significant flexibility is also required for attendance on major match days and working extended hours, including weekends as required. Experience of working for a premium brand and/or in the sports industry is advantageous.
