CRICKET JOBS: Casual Cricket Development Officer - Cricket NSW (Aus)

Cricket NSW are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm who can cover these areas for us:
· Gloucester (to be confirmed)
· Hastings River
· Manning Valley
· Great Lakes
· Macleay Valley
Cricket NSW are looking for a Development Officer ( casual / part time)
- Help us drive entry level recruitment in schools
- Work with local Clubs to enhance participation
- Promote our development programs
- Help us deliver volunteer recognition programs
- Help us deliver in-service training for schools and teachers
- Help local clubs with any administration
You’ll work closely with and report to the Mid North Coast Manager and North Coast Manager.
We’ll need you to have:
- An understanding and/or experience in school teaching or coaching cricket or other sports,
- The ability to work independently,
- The ability to work flexible hours, including the possibility of weekend work
- Access to a motor vehicle,
- A current driver’s license,
- Access to a mobile phone, and,
- Access to a computer operating Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
If you’ve got any of these, that’d be great too:
- A basic knowledge of the New South Wales education system, and Cricket NSW, and,
- A coaching accreditation in either/or –
- Cricket Australia Community (Level One) Coaching Accreditation,
- Another sport (at an equivalent level in the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme), or,
- Active After-Schools Communities (Community Coach Training Program).
- The ability to obtain a coaching accreditation within a reasonable timeframe will also be considered.
There is plenty of work in these locations and we’ll happily share you with other sports such as AFL and Hockey.
