We have an exciting opportunity for a General Catering Manager at Kent County Cricket Club. This fantastic role will suit an energetic individual who is commercially focused with a strong work ethic and who is looking to progress their career. This role also includes assisting with events at The County Ground, Beckenham.
Main Objectives:
To be accountable for all aspects of the business, both legislative & financial.
Delegating and communicating responsibilities effectively to team members.
As figurehead of the business, promote the venue to its maximum potential building relationships with clients, customers and employees alike.
Direct & motivate the management team ensuring effective communication between departments and Head Office utilising management meetings, briefings etc. setting goals, deadlines & training procedures.
Working Relationships:
Venue Management Team (Regional C&E Manager/Head Chef).
Maintain close working relationship with Head Office, Operations Director and Accounts Department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Accountable for all aspects of the business, both legislative & financial including submitting reports on a daily/weekly and monthly basis to Head Office.
Delegating and communicating responsibilities effectively to team members.
Promote the venue to its maximum potential building relationships with clients, customers and employees alike.
Direct & motivate the management team ensuring effective communication between departments and Head Office utilising management meetings, briefings etc. setting goals, deadlines & training procedures.
Responsible for event set up and breakdown of all kiosks and responsible areas.
Ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded.
Ensure that the other members of the management team are fully aware of and achieving their objectives.
To be aware of and ensure that those responsible to you are aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work and ensure that all legal requirement are met including: Licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions and any others.
