CRICKET JOBS: Cricket Development Officer - Sussex CCC (UK)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sussex Cricket and the Sussex Cricket Foundation to work as a Cricket Development Officer. This is a great time to join Sussex Cricket, further to the recent integration between the Sussex Cricket Board and Sussex County Cricket Club.
With the Sussex Cricket vision being to “Inspire a passion for cricket – at the heart of the Community,” this role will focus on growing participation programmes across the county. The candidate will be planning, managing, developing and delivering specific participation programmes throughout various settings in Sussex, with the aim of introducing and retaining more participants in the game.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in delivering participation programmes, including a strong track record in coaching young people. They will need to show how they have developed participation programmes through innovation and creative thinking.
We are looking for a self-motivated, positive team-player with organisational skills and a willingness to learn and develop their current skill set.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in terms of both written accuracy and verbal articulation.
The ideal person must be flexible and willing to work irregular working patterns in response to operational needs.
