CRICKET JOBS: Business Change Manager, Maternity Cover -ECB (UK)

We are looking for an experienced project manager to work as part of a team responsible for supporting the business operations of professional cricket in England and Wales. The purpose of the role is support the 18 First Class Counties and MCCs’ business operations primarily though the ECB’s Experience Cricket programme. The successful candidate will also be required to gain an understanding of a number of FCC’s business plans in order to offer bespoke support. The role will also require the planning and delivery of a reward and recognition event for First Class Counties in November.

2015 Domestic attendances total: 1,543,734
2015 International attendance total: 2,328,764
The Experience Cricket programme provides insight and feedback from the First Class counties’ customers through 3 elements:
- Thinks: Customer surveys sent directly to all International and NatWest T20 Blast ticket purchasers (2015: 32,140 responses)
- Behaves: Weekly customer analysis using ticket and membership data (19m records)
- Experiences: Customer journey assessments undertaken by professional assessors (2015: 51 customer journey assessments)

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities – job specific
- Project management of the Experience cricket programme 2016 including budget management.
- Maintain regular contact with FCC & MCC to ensure Experience cricket elements are delivered.
- Design and deliver end of season Experience Cricket workshops with FCCs and MCC.
- Project management of an end of season reward and recognition event for all FCCs & MCC including budget management
- Account management of support agencies
- Regular meetings and contact with FCC’s regarding their business plan status and support required.
- General support for cross-departmental ECB projects as required.
Person specification
Essential
- Over 2 years demonstrable experience in sports or event industry
- Strong understanding of cricket
- Experience of working with agency and events teams
- University-level or equivalent qualification
- Ability to build and manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Confident in building relationships with senior management

- A strong team player comfortable with responsibility
Additional information
The role will require country wide travel and due to the cricket fixtures falling across all days of the week, the occasional week-end and anti-social hours maybe required.
