CRICKET JOBS: Coaches - Trent Bridge Community Trust (UK)

The Trent Bridge Community Trust (TBCT), the charitable arm of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) is seeking to recruit aspiring coaches with an interest in gaining valuable experience within coaching and sports development.
Successful applicants will gain valuable experience at all levels of the recreational game. The programme will allow aspiring coaches to develop their coaching practice in the following areas of our work:
- School festivals
- Holiday coaching courses
- Match day coaching
- Partner roadshows across Nottinghamshire
- Volunteering at the International Matches hosted by Trent Bridge
The programme is based on the highly successful placements schemes operated in 2011 to 2014. Graduates from the four previous cohorts have gone onto secure postgraduate study, coaching work and return as mentors for new volunteers.
Placements will last for twelve weeks with support provided by the Community and Development Department. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS (CRB) disclosure. Opportunities to develop coaching practice include:
- Working alongside experienced Cricket Development Officers and Community Coaches
- Coaching target groups to gain an understanding of their needs as cricketers and people
- Assisting the Community and Development Department with their operations at domestic and international match days
- Receive bespoke training, development and mentoring sessions
