Excelsior'20 Cricket Club from Schiedam, The Netherlands is advertising the position of Cricket Coach - Player for the 2017 season.

The club is part of RKSV Excelsior'20 which is a combined cricket & soccer club with approximate 1,000 member in total. The club has 3 cricket grounds of which one has a turf square with 5 wickets.

The club fields 4 senior mens teams (of which 2 are recreational), one ladies team and youth teams in every age group from U9 - U16.
The 1st team plays in the KNCB Topklasse, which is the highest league. In the 2016 season the young team were champions of The Netherlands. The team were also champions in: 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2004, 2009 and 2012.

The position of Cricket Coach - Player is a dual role position, only applicable for candidates from EU member countries  and European Economic Area (EEA).

Number of hours per week: 38
Working days & hours: Tuesdays - Fridays: 16.00 hrs - 21.00 hrs. Saturday & Sunday: 09.00 - 18.00 hrs.
Period: April - half September 2017
Type of contract: temporary (for the above period)
Coach requirements: minimum ECB level 2 (or equivalent of other ICC full member country), level 3 is preferred.
Coach experience: proven experience of coaching both teams playing top amateur level and lower levels of both genders and age groups.
Playing experience: minimum 1st class level.
Playing role: top order batsman / batting allrounder.
Salary: €2100 (gross, per month) + negotiable incentive package

We will provide for the selected candidate free of charge accommodation for the period of the contract or pay tax free travel expenses of €0,19 / km.
