CRICKET JOBS: Commuity Cricket Officer (2 positions) - WACA (Aus)

The Western Australia Cricket Association is one of the State's premier sporting bodies with a vision for cricket to be leaders in Australian cricket.
As a result of a new and important strategic initiative to increase participation in cricket and recruit the next generation of players and fans, the WACA is seeking talented and passionate people to assist in driving growth across the;
North West - specifically in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.
South West - specially in the Busselton and Bunbury regions
For cricket to become a sport for all Australians, growth from the grass root level will be the focus by building involvement with clubs, schools and the community.
You will be assisting the WACA’s Game Development department in delivering fun and energetic activities in schools and after-hours cricket programs.
Your passion, commitment and drive to get kids physically active is what is most important to us, which means an extensive knowledge of cricket is not a necessity.
The successful candidates are required to have facilitated kids activity programs previously.
If you don’t already have your Level One Coaching accreditation, the WACA will support you in completing this certification.
Applicants are required to be available for at least four hours per week from August 2014. Hours may increase in school Terms Four 2014 and Term One 2015.
This is a rare opportunity for you to utilise your skills and experience in an area you are truly passionate about and gain some valuable experience working in a high performing sporting organisation.
You will need your own transport, first aid certificate and Working with Children’s Check.
