CRICKET JOBS: Cricket Sales Account Exec - Ageas Bowl (UK)

JOB PURPOSE
1. To manage the day to day relationship between The Ageas Bowl and a
range of important clients, including but not limited to; sponsors, partners,
advertisers and suppliers.
2. To generate new business through the sale of sponsorship, advertising and
other commercial opportunities
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
1. Fulfil all partner contracted obligations to the highest possible standard
2. To maintain regular contact with all key account clients including where appropriate periodical review meetings. (e.g.Key Exec club members, Sponsors, Other Corps, Associations (Rotary club, Lions club, Scouting, Masonic, HM Forces, Emergency services, Head teachers) Agents, Sports / Clubs)
3. To prepare and present annual reviews to all relevant key account partners including where appropriate media valuation reports
4. Liaise with other members of the Sales Department and other relevant departments e.g. Marketing, Operations and Catering to ensure achievement of point 1 above.
5. Liaise with key suppliers as required to ensure the achievement of point 1 above e.g. signage suppliers, media valuation suppliers (Repucom)
6. Act as first point of contact for allocated clients
7. To maintain current and accurate records of all partner agreements at pre and post signature stages in both hard-copy and electronic formats
8. To research and target prospective clients with partnership opportunities including sponsorship and advertising.
9. Raising awareness of all revenue streams within the Ageas Bowl, including cricket coaching, conference and events and social options
10. To upsell new and additional opportunities to existing partners
11. To act as principal contact for ECB and Essentially staff in relation to matchday delivery activities for ECB and Essentially commercial partners
12. Provide accurate match day information sheets to the Operations Department to cover partner activities
13. Other duties as required. The scope of these duties may be extended as dictated by the changing requirements of the department and the organisation and therefore the role may require additional ad-hoc duties as required from time to time.
14. Pre-season activity to maximise exposure of the cricket team and postseason to secure repeat business and maintain client relationships and loyalty.
15. Attend exhibitions and participate in local sales blitz to promote all revenue streams to the Ageas Bowl. Create new leads for C&E opportunities.

9. Good IT skills especially in the areas of word processing and database management
10. A flexible approach to working hours and deadlines
PLACE OF WORK
· Monday to Friday plus home matches – The Ageas Bowl, West End, Southampton, SO30 3XH
· Other venues for external events as required
