The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is seeking to recruit a Business Development Director.

Based at Trent Bridge, The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board (NCB) is the governing body responsible for all recreational cricket in Nottinghamshire. It is a critical part of the three pillars of cricket in the county working in collaboration the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) and the Trent Bridge Community Trust (TBCT).

The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is made up of professional officers, the Chairman and Director of Cricket from the NCCC and a team of Non-Executive Directors, each with their own area of specialism gained from professional industry.

Nottinghamshire is recognised by The ECB, other counties and the sporting public as a high performing cricketing county, both for the county club and the test match venue but also in the leading work delivered in recreational cricket and within community sports partnerships. The NCB are focused on and committed to maintaining and developing this leading position.

As a result the NCB is looking to recruit a Business Development Director to join the Board and help develop and deliver the commercial strategy. We are looking for an individual with a professional background within Sales and Marketing, Business Development or Commercial Management, who can demonstrate the ability to collaboratively develop and implement strategies at a level which delivers key organisational goals.

The specific industry or role is not important; a passion to make a difference within Cricket, Sport and the Community is.  A brief outline of the role of the Board's directors and the Business Development Director specifically can be located here.

To be successful in this voluntary role we would expect the individual to be able to commit circa ten hours per week.
