Job Description

You are a passionate, mature and ambitious events professional with a strong understanding of event operations, exceptional relationship management skills, a proven ability to work effectively across many projects and a love for getting the detail correct.

Reporting to the Event Director – International Cricket, the role will manage the CA Official Accreditation Program, deliver CA owned cricket events in the ACT and provide administrative and operational support to the Events Delivery Team relating to international (and some domestic) cricket.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage CA's Accreditation Program
• Oversee the planning and delivery of CA owned cricket events (matches) in the ACT
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in order to enhance integrated planning with State Associations, venues and Functional Areas
• Prepare key documentation for international matches including operational plans, run sheets and contact lists
• Provide other administrative and operational support to the Event Director for the delivery of international cricket including meetings, debriefs and evaluations, financial management and CA and State staff liaison
• Manage the Event Management System software including data entry, creation of reports and support its use by the events team as required
• Manage logistical requirements for the Events Delivery Team
• Provide event support to the Tournament Operation Team in the delivery of tour matches, women’s internationals or domestic finals as required.

You will have qualifications in a sports management or related degree with at least five (5) years’ experience in the delivery of major sporting events and be equipped with very strong computer skills including online software and database management. A moderate level of Interstate travel will be required.
