CRICKET JOBS: Finance Assistant - Lancashire CCC (UK)

Lancashire County Cricket Club is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation with ambition and commitment to develop a World Class cricketing and entertainment venue. Maximising the opportunities of our new £45m re-developed stadium and conference and events facilities. We are looking for an experienced individual to manage all aspects of the Sales Ledger.
Main responsibilities within this position include:
- The production of all sales invoices for the Club.
- Entering cash takings onto a journal and balancing.
- Preparing figures for catering stock take for food and bar.
- Balancing sales invoices and payments at month end and reconciliation.
Other areas you will be involved in:
- Internal recharges and stock movement journals.
- Balance of control accounts relating to sales ledger activities.
- Monthly reports on invoice activity for hospitality and ticket sales.
- Purchase orders.
- Match day support.
Essential requirements for this position are:
- Bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced sales ledger management and general accounting knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of a mainstream accounting software package. Knowledge of Dynamics GP ideal, but not essential
- Numerate with strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- Flexible with working arrangements.
