CRICKET JOBS: Girls Coach - Hampstead CC (UK)

Hampstead CC is looking for an outgoing, friendly and self-motivated Coach to help launch a new programme of girl’s cricket at the club.
The role represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to help establish a girls coaching programme at HCC to run parallel to the coaching now being offered to 250 boys.
Purpose
1. To develop and deliver inspirational coaching sessions in local state and private schools to encourage girls to take up cricket and then attend sessions at the club.
2. To develop training programmes for:
A. 5 to 11 year olds B. 12 to 14 year olds This will bring them up to the required standard to play for the adult women’s team.
3. To build relationships with local schools and to attract new girls to the club.
Tasks
1. To deliver a scheduled programme of coaching at three local schools, South Hampstead High School, Hampstead School and Haverstock School, at lunchtimes and after school during the summer term.
2. To coach juniors at Hampstead (5 to 11 year old) on Sunday mornings for 3 hours.
3. To coach intermediates at Hampstead (12 to 14 year old) on Tuesdays from 4.30 to 6pm
4. To assist with women's coaching at Hampstead on Tuesday's from 6 to 8.30pm.
Requirements
Experience of cricket coaching is desirable but not essential and we would be happy to consider people from a multi-sport coaching background as long as they are prepared to undergo training in order to develop their cricket skills, course paid by Hampstead.
The club will offer administrative and coaching support for an initial period, but we would encourage candidates with initiative and energy to seize the opportunity to take over the running of the girls section in its entirety.
