The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body for cricket in the state of Western Australia (WA). The WACA is home to WA’s elite teams, the Alcohol.Think Again Warriors and the Alcohol.Think Again Western Fury, as well as the Big Bash League’s male and female Perth Scorchers. It oversees the development of the game of cricket throughout WA and works in conjunction with Cricket Australia to make cricket Australia’s favourite sport. The WACA’s vision is to be Leaders in Australian Cricket in all areas including national team representation, elite team success, participation, engagement and fan experience.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager with a dotted line to the Accountant, this newly created part time role incorporates the administration of general human resource tasks with the processing of bimonthly payroll.
You will be required to provide day to day administration support to the Human Resources Manager including employment agreement collation, staff inductions and the delivery of a variety of other human resource services in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
This dynamic role will suit a person who has had at lest two years proven experience in payroll, preferably Micropay and general human resources experience. Highly developed interpersonal skills are essential.
It is envisaged that the successful application will work part time (30 hours per week) across five days however flexible arrangements can be explored.
You must have intermediate computer literacy and you will be competent in working efficiently under pressure in a fast paced environment. A relevant degree in Human Resources is desirable but not essential.
