Are you a passionate, energetic and creative HR professional? An exciting opportunity exists to join an iconic name in the sporting industry for a long term contract.

You will be responsible for providing high quality advice to managers and employees on a diverse range of HR issues. Fundamentally your role is to assist the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to transition Cricket NSW from “Good to Great”. Working closely with the CEO, this is a true generalist position that requires a talented Human Resources Manager to energise and be a positive force for Cricket NSW.

As Human Resources Manager you will contribute at a strategic level whilst retaining a pragmatic ‘hands-on’ approach to talent management, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development and organisation design. This role is crucial to provide ongoing support to 85 employees and a casual workforce exceeding 200.

To succeed in the role you will be a natural leader, someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, be passionate about what you do, tackle problems – large or small – with energy and purpose, and also comfortable operating at a strategic level. You will be highly organised and a great communicator who has relevant HR experience and tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline. In addition, you are outcome focused coupled with excellent stakeholder management ability. We are a fast paced business that is evolving therefore this role will suit someone who is resilient and can demonstrate relevant experience in a complex organisation.
