As the Human Resources Manager (HRM), Team Performance (TP) this is your chance to work for a Global Sports Brand, supporting elite athletes, coaches, sports science and sports medicine specialists. You will be responsible for delivering fit for purpose operational advice and support to Team Performance employees (playing and non-playing).
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this new role will provide support and counsel to the TP Leadership Team in the areas of talent management, employee relations (ER) and cultural development. It will lead and participate in Australian Cricket HR projects, learning & development, wellness and organisation development (OD) and be responsible for meeting day to day TP people needs.
Essential skills & experience required:
- Demonstrated experience in a High Performance elite sporting environment
- Proven ability to develop and implement contemporary HR practices
- Sound knowledge of relevant federal legislative provisions in all areas of employment law
- Exhibits leadership, collaboration and creative thinking skills as well as excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships across a nationally diverse team
- Experience in managing and enhancing relationships with players associations
- Credibility and influencing skills with a wide demographic
- Ability to develop leadership in others through coaching, mentoring, rewarding and guiding
- Strong team player, providing valued contribution to the TP management team
- Previous experience in managing the planning, development and delivery of change and communication activities
- Well-developed commercial business acumen skills, with the ability to think both strategically and in detail
- Track record as a high performer and people leader
- Strong experience as a Human Resource (HR) professional/generalist
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

The role is ideally based in Melbourne but we are open to exploring locating the role in our Brisbane Bupa National Cricket Centre. There will also be international and local travel requirements for this role.
