CRICKET JOBS: Internship, Coaching Administrator - Elite International Cricket Academy (UK)

Job Title: Internship, Coaching Administrator
Reports To: EICA Coaching Manager
This is initially a 6 month placement starting in April 2015, at the end of this period the position will be reviewed for the 2015 winter onwards.
1. Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Coaching Manager, to support the delivery of a single long term strategic plan to provide opportunity for more schools, clubs and participants to access cricket coaching
2. Principle Responsibilities:
· Support to planning, marketing, organisation and delivery of coaching under the auspices of the Elite International Cricket Academy
· To provide administrative support in the following areas:
- Schools Coaching
- Club Coaching
- Holiday Camps
- One to One Coaching
- Customer Feedback
- Social Media
· To provide marketing support in the above areas
· To deliver coaching to participants in the following environments
- School
- Club
- Holiday Camps
- One to One
· To assist with the Elite International Cricket Academy
- Match Day
- Mid-week training
- Video Analysis of players
· To liaise closely with all staff of Hampshire Cricket and the EICA. In addition to where appropriate, liaison with external organisations.
· Be prepared to undertake any other duties related to the work of these functions as required. 3. Knowledge, Experience and Skills
The following skills / knowledge / experience are essential (E) or preferred (P):
· Experience of coaching and/or project development in school and club environments (P)
· Knowledge and experience of sports development, preferably including the sport of cricket (P)
· Demonstrable experience in building sustainable partnerships (P)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (E)
· Demonstrable excellent organisational skills (E)
· Excellent administrative skills, including strong IT skills (E)
· Knowledge of current social media (E)
· Good time management skills (E)
· A UKCC Level 2 cricket coaching qualification (E)
· A desire to undertake a subsidised UKCC Level 3 qualification (P)
· Commitment to a continual professional development programme (E)
· A full driving Licence (E) and access to car (P)
· An enhanced Disclosure and Barring System check (P)
Core hours for the role are between 9am-5pm, however due to the nature of the work, work may be carried out outside of these if it is more effective/appropriate. This may involve out of hours work: evenings, weekends and bank holidays as necessary.
Please be aware that Elite International Cricket Academy will pay the successful candidate £200 per week in addition to any travel costs that are inccurred when attending events away from The Ageas Bowl.
