JOBS: Marketing Manager - Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket

A managerial role of the largest commercial cricket coaching company in the UK and reporting to the Managing Director, a suitable person is required to structure and implement marketing strategy within PCYC.
PCYC is the official coaching company of Yorkshire County Cricket Club providing coaching to cricketers across the county throughout the year. Predominantly office based, duties will include structuring and developing a new marketing plan, identifying target markets and communicating with them, managing the production of all promotional material and analysing competitors’ services and market trends . The candidate will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of Email marketing and a growing Social Media offering.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and also be accustomed to business development, a strong man manager with excellent administrative and organisational skills, experience of selling and marketing to organisations and end users, as well as having a basic knowledge of the cricketing set up and structure within Yorkshire.
Essential Skills
- Experience of managing marketing plans and campaigns – Have good knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts – Extensive knowledge of direct email marketing and the effective use of Social h2. Media – Competent at developing and producing promotional material – Be proactive and able to take the initiative on projects – Good commercial awareness – Full Clean driving license with own car – Competent use of Microsoft I.T. packages
Desirable Skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills – Knowledge of the cricket and coaching structures across Yorkshire – Experience of business development – Experience of managing websites – Excellent communicational skills
Salary
£18-25k depending on experience.
