Essex Cricket is looking for a volunteer to take the role of our mascot Eddie the Eagle. Applicants must be happy to work at all Essex Cricket first team home games and a schedule of public events throughout the year.

Highlight of the role will be taking part in the mascot race against all the other county mascots at Edgbaston on Finals Day, live on Sky Sports.

No previous experience is required but you must be out-going, energetic and perhaps have an interest in performing arts or drama.

This position is voluntary for people aged 16 or over and successful candidates will be required to undertake a full DBS check.
