CRICKET JOBS: Performance Manager - White Ferns (NZ)

New Zealand Cricket has a vacancy for a White Ferns Performance Manager, responsible for the development of a stream of top quality women’s cricketers, and the creation of a team with national profile that can inspire more girls and women to play and support cricket.
The responsibilities of the role are to:
- Develop the White Ferns image
- Oversee development of White Ferns team values
- Oversee identification of players in the training group, ensuring plans for each players drawn and implemented
- Engage cricket skill coaching and support staff as required
- Manage the team on tour
- Work with the Cricket Players Association (CPA) in developing life-skills
- Engage effectively with each of NZC’s services the White Ferns gain appropriate support on and off tour
The ideal applicant will:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Sports Management or a related discipline
- Have previous experience in high performance sport (preferably cricket)
- Have an appreciation of cutting edge coaching programmes, how to apply them and motivate players
