Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with the vision for Cricket to be Australia’s favourite sport. Operating within the sports and entertainment industry, CA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket on a national level.
The People and Culture team are searching for two confident, enthusiastic and positive individuals who have exceptional relationship skills and take pride in their work to join our head office on a part-time basis.
Reception is a pivotal role as the face and voice of CA for anyone making enquiries or visiting the office. As the first point of contact, this role must ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism to maintain our corporate image.
In this role you will ensure all front desk functions are handled with professionalism and efficiency. It is expected that visitors will by greeted and announced appropriately, incoming telephone calls answered in a quick, courteous and professional manner and mail and couriers handled efficiently.
You will maintain a professional presentation of the ground floor and assist with fan, internal and external stakeholder enquiries.
This role assists the Facilities Manager in ordering supplies, arranging trades and maintaining building security and performs other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating as required.
The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with the business and our stakeholders. You will have a strong background working in reception roles, preferably within a corporate environment. You present with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are proficient with word processing and administration. Key to your success is your positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships and your willingness to help people. Knowledge and an interest in the game will be highly regarded.
The role requires commitment 5 days per week, working either the morning or afternoon shift. The hours available are:
Option 1 - Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 1.00pm (total of 22.5 hours per week)
Option 2 - Monday to Friday – 12.45pm to 5.00pm (a total of 21.25 hours per week)
