Reporting to The Head of Game Development, The National Schools Cricket Program Manager is responsible for expanding the number and quality of sustainable school cricket competitions and programs including traditional inter school, regional or national. This position plays a pivotal role to ensure cricket is recognised as a ‘Sport for All’ and that ‘a culture of cricket’ is embedded in the government and private education sector.
 
The role is responsible for effectively collaborating with a wider angle of cricket and school stakeholders to successfully influence, manage and drive cricket engagement in the school sector.
The position will:

•     Oversee School Sport Australia National Championships
•     Devise action plans to ensure alignment of programs and systems to the Australian Cricket Pathway
•     Develop plans to support and build new and existing school programs and competitions
•     Establish and support new girls programs and competitions
•     Manage the CA Sports Development Program partnership with Sports Education Development Australia (SEDA) 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an in depth understanding of the Australian school sports landscape, having worked within or in partnership with the education or sports sector.  Your ability to foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders is outstanding, as is the passion and drive you will bring into this truly exciting opportunity. A relevant tertiary qualification is essential.
