CRICKET JOBS: Senior Insights Manager - ECB (UK)

As part of this strategy, we have committed to invest in insight to inform our decision-making with a focus on providing the right cricket opportunities for all. We wish to recruit a Senior Insight Manager to join our team, and help us continue our evolution towards becoming an insight-led business.
The individual will be responsible for monitoring the strategic KPIs which will keep us on track to deliver against our strategy. The role is also responsible for the dissemination of key insights across the organisation, as well as approving all insight projects delivered by the various departments within ECB. This is a cross- functional role with responsibility for raising standards, through providing platforms and tools, guidelines, training and templates.
As the role develops there may be the opportunity to line manage a data analyst, likely to be an individual seconded from one of our agencies.
The successful candidate will join the Commercial Department, reporting to the Head of Marketing.
The role involves working with numerous stakeholders within the ECB, including the Professional Game department, Participation & Growth, Public Policy as well as existing and potential commercial partners.
This role requires previous experience of consumer research and the sports industry.
Roles and responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the new strategy by agreeing and monitoring strategic KPIs
- Lead a cross functional team of departmental insight champions to deliver insight requirement
- Reduce project duplication and achieve efficiencies via strict research budget management and approval of all insight spend
- Communicate best practice and insight headlines across the business
- Raise standards, through the provision of insight platforms and tools, guidelines, training and templates
- Lead our retained and non-retained agencies to deliver against agreed KPIs
Person specification
Essential
- Minimum 4-5 years insight experience
- Experience, gained either client-side or agency, of drawing out insight from multiple sources to make clear recommendations.
- Ability to manage and deliver a variety of long-term and short-term projects effectively
- Ability to think strategically, providing a clear vision for how insight can be used to support the strategy
