We have a vacancy for a Trainee Grounds Staff. This is a full time role based at the New Zealand Cricket High Performance Centre in Lincoln. You will be assisting with the preparation and presentation of playing surfaces and surrounds, helping with covering systems and the general work associated with hosting cricket tournaments.

We’re looking for motivated person who’s used to working outdoors, is willing to learn, work hard and with a passion for cricket. Previous experience of using small machinery would be useful.

The successful applicant will have:

•     A commitment to completing a Level 4 turf management certificate
•     Full manual driver’s licence
•     A very high level of written and oral skills

Work over the cricket season will be rostered days, which may include weekends and statutory holidays, with hours being worked between 7 am and 8 pm.
