An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cumbria Cricket Ltd to work as Women & Girls Cricket Development Officer. This is a great time to join Cumbria Cricket, with the support of Chance to Shine & ECB; we are increasing our Development team to provide new and exciting participation opportunities. This role will focus on growing participation programmes across the county for girls and women. The candidate will be planning, managing, developing and delivering specific participation programmes throughout various settings in Cumbria, with the aim of introducing and retaining more participants in the game.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in delivering participation programmes, including a strong track record in coaching young people. They will need to show how they have developed participation programmes through innovation and creative thinking.
We are looking for a self-motivated, positive team-player with organisational skills and a willingness to learn and develop their current skill set.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in terms of both written accuracy and verbal articulation.
The ideal person must be flexible and willing to work irregular working patterns in response to operational needs.
