Female Cricket Officer: Cricket Australia

Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation's premier sporting bodies, with the vision for Cricket to be Australia's favourite sport. CA offers an exciting and dynamic working environment, and is responsible for overseeing and developing cricket nationally.

As part of our aim to be a sport for all Australians, the CA Female Engagement Strategy Framework was developed to increase participation and excellence in cricket through greater involvement at all levels and in all forms of the game.

As the Female Cricket Officer you will be responsible for the development and implementation of services and programs to facilitate increased participation by Women in cricket. This is a wonderful part time opportunity, 2 days per week for someone who is passionate about building female participation across cricket.

Working in the Game and Market Development department your key responsibilities will include:

• Increase Female interest and participation across all levels of Cricket by supporting states and territories to implement inclusive programmes.
• Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships with state organisations.
• Coordinate and administer the appearance booking process of all Southern Star players and Female Cricket Ambassadors Book the travel & accommodation requirements for Southern Stars and Ambassadors
• Support and implement engagement strategies to ensure cricket is a favoured game for females

• A team oriented, customer focused approach with the capacity to deal with multiple tasks and stakeholders
• The ability to develop solid business relationships on a national level
• The ability to co-ordinate and organise with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An excellent understanding of Cricket
