Arm strike
Hi all,
Bowlers normally throw with a vertical arm. Javelin throwers and baseball pitchers normally throw with a 3/4 arm angle. Should we be bowling with a lower arm or does bowling with a striaght arm mean its a different thing. Ian Pont mentioned this, he said its not really essentail to have a lower arm angle, but javelin coaches recommend it. Ian if you could enlgiht that would be great.
Thans,
J

baseball pitchers and javelin throwers use their elbows when they throw. From the shoulder upwards, we're talking about a completely different set of mechanics.
