hello PV. I need help.
im a 16 year old leg spinner.
ill give you a bit of a run down of my short cricket career.
4 years ago i started bowling leg spin i wasnt getting any where with my pace bowling didnt have much pace or bounce so spin was the only way forward. for the first 3 years i was pretty good. i could land a consistent leg break with flight dip and turn but i dint have any variations apart from a quicker ball. ill get straight to the point here I have completely lost the plot with my bowling.
ive always been able to bat and field that hasnt changed but my bowling is just gone somewhere i dont know what has happened. my action has fallen apart. i went from having good control of my leg break to having no control what so ever. i came into this season really wanting to push up the ranks into higher levels so i had a really good pre season but once matchs came along my bowling went down hill. one club man came up to me during training saying you know your bowling round arm right. and i was like what? he filmed me bowling and showed me and i was bowling really round arm which i never used to i was so confused how i went to bowling with a good arm action to bowling like i had no idea what i was doing. so move forward a couple of weeks i got my arm back up but now its to high like at times it gets the above 12 oclock point. im so confused.
im bowling balls off the pitch and so many full tosses. i just cant land the ball in a good spot.
but about a month ago i played a match on turf i bowled 4 overs 2 wickets for 3 runs and i landed all the balls in good areas with lots of spin so i thought my bowling was back but next game i went back to the bowler who cant land the ball on the pitch im just so done im stuck dont know what to do ive practised for hours and i mean hours down the nets whenever i can and still no change.
what can i do.

Its not a technical fault its just your body has grown up but your bowling hasnt just try to bowl with a quick arm swing and rip the ball as much as u can and finish your action on the left thigh dont go for a full swing of the arm like a pacer and just give the ball some air and try bowling toppie alot whn bowling in a match it will give u the confidence to rip them again looking forward for ur reply Michael.
Ok what do you mean by don't go for a full swing of the arm.
Just like to add another thing to I spin the ball a lot and I mean a lot but it doesn't feel like I'm even spinning it out of my hand?
Thanks for replying to shah.
