Introducing the new improved Harrowdrive: PitchVision miCricketCoach
What the heck happened to harrowdrive.com on Wednesday 25th June 2008?
Things got better:
- More articles with more in-depth content.
- Regular audio and video posts.
- An even bigger community of like minded cricketers.
- Customised information for coaches and players.
Did I mention it's staying free? So let's get this right. More, better, free content?
I'll bet you are thinking there is a catch here?
Well, yes and no.
You see, I'm working on the site full time. As my family tell me that food, rent and the electric bill is not free I have joined forces with the guys at miSport to help make this happen. I’m working with them as the Director of Coaching under the name miCricketCoach
Put simply, Harrowdrive and miSport have merged so I can do more for you. Pretty exciting huh?
You don't have to do a thing
What does this mean you have to do? Nothing.
The site has changed name but you still get the content and it still comes from me. We have upgraded the whole site and moved the archive and latest articles to the new home here. It's a brand spanking new site with a great design. Feel free to have a look around, there is loads to do on there (like join the forum, or subscribe to the podcast).
If you get updates via email or RSS you still get them exactly as you did. The emails have had a facelift but are still themed the same: Ways to help you play better cricket. That's about it.
Still sounds good, right?

Who are miSport anyway?
Just like me, miSport started up just a couple of years ago and just like Harrowdrive, their business is geared to club cricketers. miSport’s product, PitchVision, is a coaching software for Clubs and Schools that makes a 'Hawkeye' style system available to everyone. It's a tool for helping players track their own batting and bowling data and use it to improve their game.
The exciting thing for me is that we both want to pioneer online cricket coaching. It just makes sense to join forces. We are a perfect fit.

Does that mean you are going to try and sell me stuff I don't want?
Not at all. If you think PitchVision is for you I encourage you to look into it in more detail. However apart from the odd tutorial on using PitchVision, the articles are not going to change focus: Helping you improve your cricket.
Will I have to subscribe again to keep getting the emails?
Nope. As a harrowdrive subscriber nothing changes except the name of the email. The only minor thing to look out for is that they will be coming from a different email address which means you might need to check your spam folder and add the new address to you email contacts list.
Are you going to start charging?
No. miCricketCoach will keep doing exactly what you want: Producing regular free articles, advice and loads of other stuff. This whole deal is all about making things better for you because if you're happy I'm getting more readers and helping more people.

Thanks Robin, it's just the start of great things.
I want to know how to get my son,Ruhan (17 years) who is a fast bowler (1,84m tall and weight 76kg) to pick up weight. He has followed a gym program threw the off season and has taken supplementation. He drinks protein drinks twice a day with a multi-vitamin. He also eats oats in the morning with his protein shake and takes bread to school. When he comes from school he eats either fish or tuna with green vegetables. In the evening he eats a balance meal and just before bed he drinks his second shake. The problem with him is that he runs out of energy when bowling. He bowls very fast(+130km/h) for 3 to 4 overs max and then is so tired that he bowls a lot of no balls and wides.
Please advice on a weight gaining plan and training schedule for him.
