Quick Tip: Energy is Important
Managing your training is about three things: time, focus and energy.
You need to make sure you look at all three, especially your energy levels.
We tend to assume we will always have the same levels of enthusiasm for the game at all times. That's not true. Even the biggest cricket badgers get down days. You find yourself not bothering to turn up, or going through the motions rather than training with intensity.
But that's OK.
Know yourself, know when your energy is up and you can work hard. Really go for it in these moments.
But also know when your energy is down. You can recharge with something more fun and light, or even a day off.
