Quick Tip: Fix the Hardware Before the Software
If you want to be a good coach or player with a good technique, you need to understand the basics of movement.
batting bowling and fielding technique is the software of the "flesh computer". Without good hardware to underpin your programming you end up slow, ineffective and maybe even broken.
In this case, the hardware is your body and it's ability to get into stable and mobile positions: squatting, hip hinging, pulling and pushing.
You don't need a doctorate in physical therapy, but you do need to know how those movements look and feel. If you are a coach you need to know how to get people into these positions in the warm up.
Modern living makes our hardware faulty: we sit for hours and get locked into inactivity. You can fix it with a good warm up and remembering to stretch.
15 minutes a day is enough to counteract your weak areas and go from hunched over keyboard warrior to proud postured and technically excellent cricketer.
Is there any reason not to do this stuff?
